As many of you know, I spend a LOT of time enjoying the outdoors with my family and friends. Whether on a bike, in a kayak, with skis or boots on my feet, or standing on a paddleboard, I recognize that I've been privileged to learn and grow as an individual through those activities.
We know that challenging ourselves through nature leads to invaluable personal growth; that's why my husband and I strive to expose our daughters to as many outdoor experiences as possible. Through this event, I'm helping to expose many more children to these same experiences.
As the world’s oldest and largest adventure-based education program, Outward Bound inspires and challenges students to develop as people and leaders. The Philadelphia Outward Bound School serves 5,000 students annually from the Greater Philadelphia region and beyond, the majority of whom are from low-income families and underperforming schools.
Please help me support Philadelphia Outward Bound School by making a contribution to our fundraiser and sharing this page with your family and friends. Your support will fund programs so all those interested can experience an Outward Bound adventure regardless of their economic situation.
