Any donation to Philadelphia Outward Bound will aid in helping kid's of all ages during a challenging transformative period by teaching them leadership qualities and helping them realize they are capable of more than they ever imagined!

My boyfriend's brother, Billy Bauernschmidt, had an especially great experience with Outward Bound in 2005. This program is very special to their family as they were able to experience this course first hand with Billy before he passed away in 2006 in a car accident. I love hearing Ryan's memories of all the adventures he had with his brother! Billy said that while the program was the hardest thing he had ever done, it was the most rewarding. Billy's family and especially his mom, Debbie, is grateful to Outward Bound for the leadership qualities Billy gained from his 21-day program. Every year she honors Billy by raising money to give other kid's the same experience her son had.
