You made it to our page! Thank you.
I’ve been on the board of the Philadelphia Outward Bound School for the past five years. Its mission – to change lives through challenge and discovery – is one I hold dear.
As many of you know, I have a love for the outdoors. Whether on a bike or a kayak, with skis or boots on my feet, the calm and beauty and challenge of a day outdoors is replenishing and rewarding.
Both of my daughters have been fortunate to experience an Outward Bound excursion. As the world’s oldest and largest adventure-based education program, Outward Bound inspires and challenges students to develop as people and leaders.
Please help us support Philadelphia Outward Bound School by making a contribution to our fundraiser and sharing this page with your family and friends.
Your support will fund programs so all those interested can experience an Outward Bound adventure regardless of their economic situation. The Philadelphia Outward Bound School serves 5,000 students annually from the Greater Philadelphia region and beyond, the majority of whom are from low-income families and underperforming schools. To ensure that students can participate without regard to financial capacity, scholarships cover up to 80% of course fees for thousands of young people.
And if you want to rappel, it's not too late! Let me know. Together, we can make a difference!
