I am challenging myself while raising money for a cause very dear to my heart. By raising $1,750 dollars for Outward Bound I have the chance to rappel down a skyscraper 😬 while giving children who might not normally have the opportunity a shot at OB’s life-changing programs. I have met this goal with the help of many generous donors so I get to rappel - yay!!!!- but I still want to see how much more of an impact I can make.

I am doing this in honor of my daughter, whose confidence and poise grew with each OB challenge she took on, leading her to pursue Outdoor Leadership at college in North Carolina this year. Every dollar I raise will advance Philadelphia Outward Bound School's great cause, helping city kids like mine see how strong and resilient they are, exposing them to the great outdoors, and to as-yet-unimagined possibilities within and outside of themselves. This is the perfect convergence of many things that mean a lot to me, and I hope you will consider donating if you can.
